Boz the Bear ~ Preschool Family Devotions

Sunday, April 6th ~ 11:30 a.m.

Our BOZ the Bear Preschool Party is happening on Sunday, April 6th right after church! The BOZ book and video series is a VERY popular Christian resource. BOZ teaches about things like colours, shapes, counting, manners, forgiveness and God’s love. A Christian publishing company has recently partnered with the creators of Boz to come up with a preschool family devotion program. Join us on the 6th to find out what its all about!!! We’ll have some lunch, play some games and get to know this BIG loveable bear!

We have purchased the entire Boz book & dvd series for you to borrow through our Children’s Library and will have samples of the home material for you to look through and explore.

If you’re a family with kids ages 4 and under, please join us for this event!

Family Skating Party!

Join us at Mel Lastman Square this Saturday (Feb 23) for a skating party,

from 1:00 - 2:30!

Snacks will be provided ~ bring some friends!

Preschool Playgroup, starting February 14th!!!

We are starting our new Preschool Playgroup on Thursday, February 14th! Drop in between 9:30 and 11:00 each week for playtime, crafts & other activities. We’ll even be doing a couple day trips together ~ to places like the Toronto Zoo!
This intent of this program is to first of all help us connect with each other, but also to provide an opportunity for you to invite other preschool families from the neighbourhood into our Spring Garden community, in a casual and “safe” way.

Christmas Celebrations, January Fun

WOW!!! Our kids (and adult participants!) did an AMAZING job in FINDING THE CHRISTMAS STAR!!! Way to go guys!!!! What a way to kick off the Christmas season at Spring Garden!!!

Coming up this Sunday, December 9th, we are having our annual Ministry Partner's Christmas lunch at the Hall's place. Check your email for directions ~ contact Michelle if you didn't recieve them. (This event is for our all of our Ministry Partners and their families.)

On Saturday, December 15th we will be having a Kids Christmas Party from 1:00 - 3:00. We have a great afternoon planned ~ lots of fun and games! Bring your kids (ages 3+) and bring a friend! Take advantage of the time and do a little holiday shopping, or head over to the 2nd Cup @ Yonge & Spring Garden for a latte and a break!

Our Christmas Eve Family Service is on Monday, December 24th at 5:30 p.m. Join us for a lively and kid-friendly celebration of Christ's birth.

We're going to the WAVE POOL!!! We have booked our next family event at the Richmond Hill Wave Pool on Saturday, January 12th. Our swim time is from 1:30 - 2:30, and we have a party room booked for 2:45. The cost for this event is $15 per family. Please confirm your attendance with Michelle by Sunday, January 6th. Invite your friends!!!

BCOQ Jr High Retreat ~ Avalanche! We have 7 of our grade 6 kids joining the grade 7 & 8's on a retreat weekend to Muskoka Woods Sports Resort January 18th - 20th. We will join 600 other Jr.High kids from baptist churches across Ontario and Quebec for an incredible weekend of snowsports, widegames, teaching and worship. Pray for our kids (and leaders!) as we travel on snowy roads and spend a weekend at the resort.
